Gardening!

It's May, 2000, and this year I'm gardening- here are a few digital snapshots of some of the plants on my deck garden. Although I live on an acre of land, much of it slopes and all of it is woodsy (you can get an idea of that from the last picture on this page), and my upstairs back deck gets absolutely the best sunlight.

I'm growing tomatoes (three varieties- cherry tomatoes, la roma, and cherokee purple), lettuce (red lettuce, and "California Spicy Greens", a mixed seed packet from Renee's Garden), bell peppers, snow peas, and various pole beans. I've also got a basil plant and a French lavender plant and an asparagus fern I was given nearly a year ago as a housewarming present... turns out they like the weather in Bonny Doon, CA!
